... ICY CONDITIONS THIS MORNING... .A WINTRY MIX OF MAINLY FREEZING RAIN... MIXED AT TIMES WITH SLEET... WILL SPREAD NORTHWARD ACROSS THE AREA OVERNIGHT AND CHANGE OVER TO ALL FREEZING RAIN. THE MAIN THREAT IS VERY HAZARDOUS TRAVEL FROM ICY ROADWAYS. THE PRECIPITATION WILL CHANGE OVER TO PLAIN RAIN FROM SOUTH TO NORTH THROUGH THE MORNING ... AND BECOME ALL RAIN ALONG HIGHWAY 20 DURING THE EARLY AFTERNOON. DENSE FOG WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE THIS MORNING... ESPECIALLY SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 34 IN IOWA AND SOUTH OF GALESBURG IN ILLINOIS.
